To delete trashed messages you have three options, you can delete them individually, delete all of them, or do nothing and let the system delete them automatically whe such message reaches 30 days in the Trash.

To delete the messages individually, simply check mark the message you wish to delete and click on the button labeled Delete forever. To delete all messages, click on the grey bar at the top of your Deleted Messages inbox labeled "Empty Trash now messages that have been in Trash more than 30 days will be automatically deleted" and then click ok.

BFIS Connex E-mail automatically deletes the trashed messages that are 30 days old, so you do not have to worry about deleting your trash.
