The Community Action Program is a new initiative to institutionalize community service in BFIS. We believe that service is an integral part of any learning environment, and that in our efforts to fulfill the standards and philosophy of the school Mission Statement it is essential that we propagate the values of altruism and civic responsibility among students, parents and staff alike. The project aims to allow students to think creatively in dedicating their time, talents, and good will to improve the lot of those in need. The voluntary jobs have been carefully designed to provide a meaningful experience for the participants while making a difference in the Barcelona community.
