To apply for admission to Benjamin Franklin International School, follow these steps: 1. Completion of Application Form available in For ALL applicants. Please check off the list and make sure the following documents are sent: ____Completed 5 page Application Please check off and make sure that required documentation according to specific grades is included: ____ Grades K-6 Completed confidential teacher questionnaire ____ Grades 6-12 Two copies of the confidential teacher questionnaire. eMail (click to start an email to us with your default email program) All documents may be mailed to: 2. Payment of the application fee of 90 euros. Information on payment here. Applicants are requested to pay a non-refundable application fee per applicant. 3. Parent/Student Interview and Screening -Parents and students will be requested to meet with the Admissions Coordinator
-Additionally, the following interviews/tests will take place before a final decision on admission can be taken:
-All Nursery applicants will be assessed -Further internal assessment might take place in Mathematics and or Reading Comprehension for students in grades 4 to 12
-ESL (English as a Second Language) testing is mandatory for non-native English speakers applying for grades 5 to 12 -Learning Support testing by specialists will take place if necessary 4. Notification Shortly after the Admissions Team makes a final decision on acceptance, applicants will be notified. If accepted, parents will be requested to complete the matriculation and contract forms. At that time, the Matriculation Fee and the Capital Fund Fee (both non-refundable) must be paid to guarantee the placement of the child/ren. Once the Business Office has received payments, the student is officially enrolled at Benjamin Franklin International School.
