Cooking 4 Kids!
PreK to Grade 1
Vanessa Carlini
The idea is for kids to enjoy and participate in making simple recipes, each week we will have a different recipe and the children will have their own recipe book, where they can write or draw what we are making for the day. The ideal place would be our school kitchen, baking will happen once or twice a month, so we won’t use the oven often.
Parents who are interested in enrolling their child will have to pay an extra amount to cover the cost of ingredients and recipe book.
Cooking is something I really enjoy doing with my students and I think it would be a great experience for them! We will bake, decorate cupcakes, make holiday food and have fun cooking! Maximum of 10 children.

It would involve choosing a travel destination each semester, one to an urban location and another to a rural, outdoorsy location. One of the destinations would be within Spain and the other within Europe for a weekend trip. Students would vote of the locations with regards to budget, time, and feasibility. Then, students would work together in groups and research the trip starting with the purchasing of airline/train tickets to reserving a hotel, determining the museums we would visit or the hiking itinerary we would follow. This after school activity would meet on Fridays, however, maybe only 2-3 Fridays a month depending on what needs to be planned. The fee will be determined based on the number of sessions (14 euros per session).
